Lack of quality education, high rate of school drop outs, and chronic unemployment are imminent challenges faced by rural India today. However, through a formal system of skill/vocational training these youths can acquire relevant skills and self-confidence that will facilitate them to find meaningful work or get self-employed by establishing a small shop or an enterprise in the vicinity of their homes and eventually bring in additional income to their family.
